High Speed + Roaming customers have the option to either purchase the receiving device for $79.95 or rent it for $4.95 per month. There is an initial one-time charge of $9.95 for account/equipment set up and shipping.

Mobility: High-Speed + Roaming customers receive one free roaming account to be used with the Pacifica Net Hot Spot when in range of an antenna (see map) and is immediately activated upon completion or registration. The receiving unit itself is also portable and can be used anywhere it can receive  Pacifica Net's Wi-Fi network coverage. There is no installation required.

The Receiving Device: Your receiving device is mailed from Half Moon Bay and should be there in no more than two business days. It is used for a few reasons:

• Power: Creates a stronger, more reliable connection to the network.
• Security: Provides 802.1x WPA - Enterprise level encryption to keep your data completely safe.
• Indoor Wi-Fi: Can also be used as a wireless access point.

There are NO contracts or cancellation penalties and we do offer a trial period of 30 days. If we are unable to make the service work to your satisfaction, we will refund all charges after the equipment is returned in good, working condition with all accessories and packaging to our distribution center in Half Moon Bay, CA.
